TalentTone (“we,” “us,” or “our”) values privacy and provides this notice to describe how we handle personal data when you continue through Google OAuth or otherwise interact with the service.

Information we collect

When you sign in with Google OAuth we receive basic profile details (name, email, avatar) and the token needed to confirm your identity. We also collect information you provide directly (feedback, interview responses) plus usage metrics such as session timestamps, feature interactions, and error logs to help us keep the interviewer running smoothly.

Cookies and similar technologies may track preferences, keep you signed in, and distinguish between human traffic.

How we use data

We use your profile and usage information to authenticate you, personalize the experience, and improve the product.

Data also powers anonymized analytics, basic fraud detection, and replies to support inquiries. We only retain what is necessary to provide the service and comply with legal obligations.

Third-party services

Google handles authentication through OAuth and may process your profile on our behalf. We also rely on trusted infrastructure vendors for hosting, monitoring, and email delivery; their access is limited to what’s needed to operate TalentTone.

We do not sell personal data. Any analytics or bug reports shared with partners are stripped of direct identifiers.

Security and retention

Access to data is restricted via role-based controls and encrypted in transit. We monitor systems for suspicious activity and rotate secrets regularly. If you delete your account, we remove associated data within a reasonable timeframe unless retention is required by law.

You can manage consent and notification preferences through your Google account settings and browser privacy controls. Reach out to info@talenttone.com to request copies of your data or to close your account.

We will honor valid requests to access, correct, or delete personal data in accordance with applicable law.
